Judith Morrison previously served as the Regional Director for South America and the Caribbean, and Senior Representative for Brazil, Colombia and the Southern Cone at the Inter-American Foundation. As Executive Director of the Inter-Agency Consultation in Latin America (IAC), she promoted development policies for racial and ethnic communities in the region.
She has published articles and book chapters on equity and development for the United Nations, IDB, U.S. Government, and the academic and popular press. Her current research interests include economic development in marginalized communities and the role of data in promoting development policies for the poorest of the poor. Morrison holds a degree in poverty alleviation and income distribution from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
