OVERVIEW

The IDB Group Strategy for 2017-2020 with Guatemala assigns priority to public administration and transparency, reducing the gaps in access to basic services by the poor, and the promotion of actions to stimulate private investment. Rural and indigenous populations will receive particular attention, through measures involving cultural relevance and gender equality, as appropriate, as well as through initiatives to adapt to climate change across economic sectors. The Strategy will coordinate actions with the Plan of the Alliance for the Prosperity of the Northern Triangle in such a way as to maximize support for each of the countries involved.
